The XP series offers a unique rotating barrel mechanism to those who prefer shooting with powerful .40S&W / 10mm AUTO / 45acp rounds. Built on the latest generation of Mk12 polyamide handle, but it features a new steel dismantling catch which replaced the original trigger guard stop. This innovation results in a stronger handle, enhanced reliability and easier field stripping. The new rounded slide profile provides excellent handling and ergonomics. Longer XP model provides even more accurate shooting and increased mass shifts center of gravity towards muzzle to further reduce muzzle lift. The XP features the X-Calibur hammer group for a very light single action trigger, and the adjustable Eliason style rear sight and fiber optic front sight as well as the big mag button.
